Shooting for a catalogue

Because in a product photography studio we create all sort of  images, here is an example of a job were we were asked to capture three views of 203 different shoes: top, side and perspective. A total 609 images.

This type of photography is widely used on online shopping sites and catalogues, and is usually refer to as packshots.

The great challenge of this type of work, is to be extremely consistent on all images, in the same session and between different sessions. It is usually necessary to repeat the exact same views, lighting and image retouching for each new collection. This can only be achieved with a lot of method and patience.
